Stuck inside due to the smoke outside from the crazy fires all around us. We decided to have a Family play date/ dinner/ game night! We ordered all our favorites! Dairy Queen, Cheesecake Factory and KFC. We laughed, played Cover Your A$$ets, scarfed down our delicious food and had a blast.
And just like that, we have ourselves a Kindergartner! Caralynn has been waiting for this day to arrive for A LONG TIME!!! She could hardly contain her excitement this morning.
Family Beach Day! 80 degrees! Emmalee’s first time playing in the sand and water! She loved it! Caralynn loved jumping over the waves. It stated getting really windy and we had to take off earlier than we anticipated. There was a storm rolling in as well as smoke from surrounding fires. We hung out inside for the rest of the night and just played games.
We took a hike to the Witches Castle in Forest Park. So fun to have all these amazing trails and creeks in our own backyard. The kids had such a fun time climbing around pretending with wands and using their imaginations.
Family fun in our own backyard:) Pool time, roasting weenies and s’mores, root beer floats, hot tub, trampoline and a campout with dad. A much needed night together.
