New Year's Eve

We spent the evening with friends who have become like family. The love is real. I honestly don’t know what our life would be like without these 3 families to help us. They offer support, help spiritually uplift us, invoke hours of endless laughter and love us unconditionally. We are so blessed. Can’t wait to see what the next decade has in store. A night filled with pizza, games, delicious desserts, super Mario and smash bro’s on the Wii, Brandon firing the nerf gun at anyone who dies in the game, the kiddos playing board games, running around, playing and the babies happily and sometimes unhappily babbling and squealing. Starting off 2020 with a night like tonight is a good sign that it is going to be a good year! Thanks MayaBrandonWhitney, David, Jeff and Lacey for ringing in the new year with us:)

Influenza B

The flu has struck. Caralynn tested positive, I am feverish and have tummy discomfort and Anderson has been on the couch all day with lethargy, nasal congestion and no appetite. We are resting and just staying hydrated and taking our tamiflu. I am grateful for the preventative doses given to us. I know this would be much more severe and miserable without it.

Christmas Dinner

Fun Christmas Dinner with the Thompson eating the biggest roast I’ve ever seen!!!! We had a gift card exchange for the adults and a toy exchange for the kiddos. The highlight of the night was the “left Center right” game where Zach ended up with the jackpot! $120.00! I love my crazy family!

Merry Christmas from our family to yours! I attempted to order these cards 2 times and both times failed. When I went to pick them up from Costco, the order had not gone through AGAIN! The Costco employees felt so bad because they could see that I had submitted the order twice but then it never finished the process. He offered me free prints but I gratefully declined. I honestly just don’t have the energy. This month has been a rough one for our little family. The last few weeks especially have been an emotional roller coaster. I feel like taking a gigantic step back and just focusing on each other and starting the year fresh and new will be good. Also, Caralynn was fine one minute tonight and the next was lethargic, flushed, complaining of chills and spiked a flash fever of 102.3 ðŸ˜°. Patrick left Anderson, Emmalee and I at my family’s Christmas party and took Caralynn home. She fell asleep on our couch shortly after and we pray and hope she wakes up feeling better and that the rest of us are spared. Please forgive us if we have been distant and reclusive. We love you all very much. Know that our intentions are good. Here is our Holiday Card this year. Sending you all virtual hugs and wishes for a wonderful new year filled with opportunity, happiness and love! We have so much to be thankful for and we are so blessed!

Merry Christmas

Christmas Eve

‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house...not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse...The stockings were hung by the chimney with care... the babes were all nestled all snug in their bed...while visions of sugarplums danced in their heads.
