Covid didn't stop us from celebrating/enjoying a bunch of Halloween activities this year!! We hit up 2 drive-through Trick-or-Treats, a socially-distanced trunk-or-treat and then joined friends for 'door-to-door' trick-or-treating with the kids!! Following our little jaunt around the neighborhood, we enjoyed some games, many laughs, Hocus Pocus, pizza & candy.
We had a wonderful Spooktacular trunk or treat at our church tonight. Anderson had a friend (who he has missed dearly) come by and ask him to play. He took full advantage and stayed behind which made my mama heart happy. He came home absolutely rejuvenated and had a huge smile on his face. He misses his friends. I wore his t-Rex Costume and the girls had a blast running around gathering goodies! Caralynn was Bat Girl and Emmalee was a baby dragon. Such a fun night with our ward family. It was much needed! It was hard getting good pictures with kiddos on the move but I did my best while in a blow up dinosaur costume. Thankfully Karisa snapped a few as well and we photo swapped. Emmalee tripped over her own feet and ended up with some road rash on her face. All par for the course when you have barely learned to walk and your parents put you in a dragon costume. Watching her walk around was so hilarious and adorable! Caralynn was in her element just running around and being her silly, crazy, bubbly self! Thanks Skyline ward for an unforgettable evening!
