Support
We supported a couple of boys in one of our neighboring wards today. For their Eagle Scout Project, they set up a bunch of tables in a local park and provided all the supplies needed for child identification kits complete with finger prints, pictures, information cards and DNA Swabs. They also had a few tables set up for Bone Marrow registration and had kits to complete to become a match. They offered candy and cookies as well. Very Cool!

Let’s go Wildcats!!! Watching nephew Heath tear it up!! 38-14, Westview wins! #13

2 Month Check-Up
Big day for this little warrior! She had her 2 month well child check:) 3 pokes:( She is 9 lbs 3 ounces (9th percentile) and 21.5 inches long (9th percentile). She got her immunizations so we were able to go and get her ears pierced:) She is sleeping the events of the day off this afternoon. I will spare you the video because it’s just sad...but it’s over now and she handled it pretty well. Now we snuggle!!!
Immunization aftermath...poor bug is in so much pain:( Her legs are so tender. Rough night last night. Today is a mandatory “snuggle” day!

Celebrating 15 INCREDIBLE years married to the love of my life! We fall in love more and more each day. I wouldn’t want anyone else by my side on this journey. You make me laugh, hold me when I cry, support and love me through our ups and downs. You work hard for our family and are an amazing Dad to our beautiful children. Your fierce love for the gospel and unwavering faith inspires me. You make me a better person and I love our life. I’m the luckiest woman in the world.

Surgery #3
September 17th, 2019
Sleep tightly little princess. Nights and days have been pretty rough for this bug. In the morning, we check into the hospital to have her ear fixed. They will be taking out the tube and clearing out all the infection and build up. Our hope is that her ear can heal and we can see improvement over the next few weeks and months. We just want her to feel better and be out of pain and discomfort. Please say a prayer for her that surgery is successful.

She’s awake and doing so well!!! They gave her a special medication (precedex) that wakes her up slowly and it’s working beautifully. She is emotional but not hysterical. It will take her a few more hours to fully wake up. The surgery went well. The tube is out and he cleared out the infected parts. He also cut a little bit of fat from the back side of her ear lobe and put in a stitch. He then inserted the fat in her ear to help it heal. She is groggy but in good spirits:)

They just took her back...she loved the playroom, she took the oxy and versed like a champ but spit the Tylenol everywhere 🙄. She was super nervous and didn’t want to go back. She also ripped off her jammies. Lol. She is a spitfire. They have extra meds on board to help her out with waking up slower in hopes that she won’t wig out.

Smiles
Our week with Emmalee in pictures:) We are so in love and enjoying every minute of this little bundle of joy. She has begun to smile and our hearts melt everytime!!
Emmalee is 9 lbs 2 ounces!!! It’s crazy that Anderson was born at this size! I found myself just looking at her differently today. Imagining and remembering almost 9 years ago and how fast he changed from newborn to infant to toddler. I LOOOVE the newborn stage! I find delight in just sitting and snuggling. My time with her is precious and meaningful. Emmalee is 9 weeks old TODAY!!! Time flies!!!

Comparison Pics
Sibling comparison pic!!! Anderson, Caralynn and Emmalee all at the same age:) Starting on the left with “Chub”, “Cheeks” in the middle and “Tiny” on the right.
Comparison pics!!! Because Caralynn and Emmalee were born 4 year apart but both in July, Caralynn’s memories keep popping up and I love to compare the baby girls with each other. It’s fun to find pics of them in the same outfits. Same expressions and situations:) #lovemygirls. I think they look alike in some ways but also feel like they are VERY DIFFERENT LOOKING.
