I’m so in love with these women who have taken care of us with such love, care and compassion. Dr. Sally Wentross, Nurse Hillary, Nurse/lactation specialist, Gina, (not pictured, nurse Carolyn, Anesthesiologist Amber, midwife Lindsey Geunes, midwife Jody, mental health, Dr. Venderbush and Nurse Michelle.) ALL of these women have played an essential and vital role throughout our journey here. Feeling so blessed and grateful for their love and support.
We left the hospital and took Emmalee straight to my best Friend, Cori’s pediatric clinic where she works to have her tongue clipped. She has a VERY tiny mouth and her tongue was tied and making feedings very difficult and painful for both of us. She kept up with her tradition of being an angel and didn’t freak out or get hysterical. She is such a doll. The Dr. at the clinic was AMAZING and helped us with our latch, feeding, positioning and tricks for supplementing. Feeding is going so well now and I can actually hear she is getting milk just by the sound of her burps:)
